Local Global Care operations are active 7 days a week across the country.

General funds raised for local operations will go towards resources, equipment, and training.
Funds raised for disaster relief either go to preparing for or responding to disasters.
In preparing for a disaster, we put funds towards resources for our disaster response units. When responding to a disaster, funds will go towards purchasing of white goods, food and fuel vouchers, meals, and building materials.
In February 2022, communities along the east coast of Australia experienced a severe flood event. Individuals and families left their homes with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, leaving many repeatedly wearing the same wet, dirty, muddy clothes. When you’ve lost your home, possessions and any certainty, the ability to wash and wear clean clothes can be enough to spur you on. The mobile laundry units will also be accessible outside of disaster season for those sleeping rough, living in overcrowded houses, couch surfing, or just doing it tough.
