In 2021, Global Care celebrated 25 years of service. Across 97 locations, Global Care has established social assistance programs, cleaned up after disasters, and been a mate to all. Global Care is proud to present a documentary produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Jude Kalman of Little Drum Pictures, showcasing our work over the past 25 years.
Endeavouring to raise money for the charity, the documentary follows a team of passionate Global Care volunteers as they ride across the Simpson Desert on fat bikes. While snap lockdowns, harsh landscapes, and physical exhaustion threaten to derail their adventure, their feat embodies the true heart of Global Care; ‘mates helping mates’.
We are excited to announce that the Red Dust Challenge documentary, has been selected in the Gold Coast Film Festival 2023!
