From March 27th to July 31st Global Care Australia partnered with local Gold Coast charity Love this City and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center (GCCEC) to provide 50,000 meals to families, individuals and front line workers directly affected by COVID-19.

Fresh, nutritious and delicious meals were prepared and packaged by the incredible GCCEC chefs. They were then picked up by Global Care volunteers and distributed from a Global Care facility in Burleigh to over 10 different local churches, schools and organisations.

We are blown away by the generosity of the GCCEC and its team to provide meals of such a high quality, not only that but the impact it had on the Gold Coast community. As always we are inspired by the work of all the incredible volunteers who gave up their time to serve their community.
