Red Dust Challenge 2021

This year, we’re celebrating 25 years of Global Care. That’s 25 years of Global Care meeting the needs of communities all across Australia. Week in and week out, our 93 local Global Care operations respond to the specific needs within their communities.

As we look to the future, Global Care is facing a significant financial challenge with the loss of a long-term financial sponsor. We’re looking for new ways to fund the vital work we are doing across Australia and the world.

Introducing – Red Dust Challenge. This August, we’re sending a team of cyclists to cross the Simpson Desert on a gruelling 620km sand track, on a fat bike, over eight days. All to raise $75,000 to fund Global Care’s mission.

This is where we need your help.

How can you support the Red Dust Challenge?

We’re reaching out to people who love the heart and mission of Global Care as much as we do, and we’re asking you to join us in the challenge. We’re not asking you to get on a bike and ride across the sand tracks of the Simpson Desert, but to support the challenge in a couple of ways

  1. Give: donations $2 and over are tax deductible and
  2. Spread the word: send this to someone who may be interested
  3. Alternatively, you can make a donation by direct deposit:
