Innisfail Impact Report 2022

For over 20 years, Innisfail Global Care has been on the Cassowary Coast Emergency Relief Roster one day a week, providing families in need with food hampers. Families are able to receive the hampers free of charge, with each hamper containing non-perishable food items, a loaf of bread, and local produce. In recent years this has become more effective with the continued support of the Woolworths Fresh Food Rescue Program. In 2022, 186 food parcels were distributed — a 54% increase in requests since 2020, reflecting the rising cost of living.
