Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills. People who are financially literate are less vulnerable to fraud, are able to manage debt, can save towards life goals, and track personal spending.
As an extension of their food care or op shop program, many of our local operations offer budgeting courses and advice. Some of our local operations partner with existing organisations such as Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and Good Shephard, to offer debt assistance.
